Level 2 is coming, and we are so excited! We finally get to see you all again!

Over the next couple of days we’ll be ringing everyone who’s missed an appointment to book them in. If we don’t manage to get hold of you by Wednesday morning, please send us an email at info@blackpearl.co.nz in case our contact details need to be updated.

We know everyone will want an appointment as soon as possible, but we’ll have to take a little longer in order to assure that everything, from the seats and surfaces, to the EFTPOS terminal and the doorknobs are fully sterilised between each person. We’ll fit you in as soon as we can.

Some things in the salon will be different in level 2 so please take note of some things we need you to know.

  • It’s very important to be on time for your appointment. As you can imagine, we have a lot of people who are wanting appointments plus we need to stagger the start times in order to ensure appropriate physical distancing. If you’re not on time for your appointment, you may lose your appointment time and still be charged. We don’t want this to happen, so please let us know the day before if you think you’ll have trouble making your appointment time.
  • Please wait outside the building, or at one of the nearby cafes or restaurants until we call you for your appointment time. This will allow us to ensure that each station is properly sanitised before you arrive. In some cases, this may take a little longer, so please be patient with us.
  • We won’t be able to serve refreshments or provide magazines in level 2, so please feel free to bring your own with you.
  • When you enter and exit the building it’s best to use the lift to come up and the stairs to go down, if possible. This will help maintain physical distancing in these areas.
  • Inside the salon, please try to maintain a one metre distance from other clients and staff, apart from your own stylist who will be part of your bubble.
  • You’re most welcome to bring a mask to wear during your appointment if you’d like. We also have disposable masks available at your request.
  • Friends and family won’t be able to attend your appointment with you during level 2 as we’ll need to limit the number of people in the salon.
  • We won’t be able to store your coat in the coat cupboard in order to avoid cross contamination, so please bring a bag to keep it in during your appointment.

We can’t wait to get your hair back on track and hear about your adventures in lockdown! We’ve definitely missed seeing your faces and catching up on what’s been going on in your lives.

Most of all, we just can’t wait til we’re all looking fabulous again!
