Hello beautiful people,
We hope you’ve all been safe in your bubbles throughout levels 4 and 3. This has sure been an unexpected year and a big adjustment for all of us! It’s very encouraging to see that things are starting to get better and we feel lucky to be in this very special part of the world.
The team have been making good use of our time in lockdown by using online training and learning the latest techniques and styles. We’re excited to be able to put these into practice when we reopen the salon!
While we’re hopeful that level 2 will start on the 12th of May, we’re awaiting confirmation from the government before we start booking you all in as we don’t want to inconvenience you by having to reschedule.
As soon as we’re certain of our reopening date, we’ll be calling everyone who’s missed an appointment to schedule you in, starting with those who had appointments booked for the end of March. If you didn’t have a previous booking, but would like us to schedule you in, please email us at info@blackpearl.co.nz Please let us know what days and times suit you best, and whether you are wanting a cut or a colour as well. We’ll do our best to accommodate you as soon as we can.
Your safety is important to us, so things will look a bit different in the salon during level 2 as we observe physical distancing rules and take additional measures with cleaning and disinfecting, and the use of PPE. This will also involve temporarily removing things like magazines and the lolly jar (we know! ☹) but these will be back as soon as possible. We’ll let you know more about these measures as we get closer to reopening.
